We love success stories here at PM Training, and it's even more exciting to hear about learners Leah Dunkley and Hannah Sproston on their successful 8 week work experience program with Brighter Futures.
Leah and Hannah both study with PM Training and take part in our dedicated Health and Social Care programme - Careworks. The program provides school leavers with the essential skills and work experience needed to get a real taster of the health and social care sector. This provides a valuable reference when seeking future employment.
They have both gained valuable experience in areas within Brighter Futures including learning disabilities, mental health, crisis team and homelessness.
Leah has been recognised as a model student whilst on the Careworks program and is really enjoying her time with PM Training.
Leah said: "Having done the taster sessions on placement, the experience has really made me want to pursue a career within the mental health sector. I'd love to work with Brighter Futures."
Hannah is also succeeding in her taster session placement at Brighter Futures, after a glowing review from staff, she is using her experience to pursue a career in working with adults with learning disabilities.
The Health and Social Care sector is one of the largest growing sectors in the UK and has a variety of jobs available such a care work, nursing, child care and more.
