This qualification is aimed at experienced window installers who want to up their skills and responsibilities installing glass facades on domestic or commercial sites.
Candidates should be capable of dealing with a wide range of problems, including working with installations that have complex requirements.
WHAT YOU WILL LEARN
Maintain Health and safety and understanding the building regulations within the fenestration industry.
Improve knowledge of curtain wall systems to install curtain wall systems, infill units into curtain wall systems and post-curtain wall activity.
Communicating and working with others in the glass and related working environments.
Produce specifications for window and door, curtain wall or conservatory installations.
