4-6 WEEK WORK PLACEMENT 

You’ll then step out onto a work experience placement with an employer. This work placement will help you gain insights into the workplace and allow you to adapt to new situations and learn valuable on-the-job skills.

If the work placement is successful and you have enjoyed it, we’ll work with you to find a permanent apprenticeship through our large employer network.

WHO IS THIS FOR?

Our pre-apprenticeship course in OFFICE SKILLS is for anyone aged between 16-18 who has an interest in an office-based career in business. This pre-apprenticeship could take you into a career in business administration, customer service, marketing, or finance. 

This course also provides you with a headstart into what you can expect from these career paths. As a result, we'll get you apprenticeship-ready in no time!

 

WHAT YOU WILL LEARN

You'll gain an introduction to the customer service environment and learn a variety of skills that will support you in preparation for a role within a workplace.

You'll learn about the principles of business administration, customer service and how digital skills are used in the workplace.

Plus, we'll support you with maths and English if you need it and employability skills such as CV writing and interview techniques.

Naila Bibi is an award winning ex-apprentice within Aspire Housing.

She is a valued member of the HR team who won the Financial, Legal and Professional Services Award and Asian Apprentice Of The Year 2017. Naila began her apprenticeship journey with the business and customer service pre-apprenticeship at Achieve Training and has worked hard to achieve great success. Naila is currently working full-time within Aspire Housing as a trainee apprenticeship coordinator.
