ABOUT THE APPRENTICESHIP
Inventory planning is the process of determining the optimal quantity of stock in line with our customer sales and production capacity. The role of the apprentice will include:
- Understanding the process of inventory demand and forecasting
- Processing orders
- Understand production methods and capacities
- Understanding production plans
- Maintain data using Churchill’s computer software
- Communicate with production managers to prioritise urgent items needed for customers
- Maths is used regularly in this role as the apprentice will monitor stock levels, demands and forecasts. This is done using Microsoft Excel and our internal computer software “IFS”.
- English is vital for communication via emails with internal managers, sales executives and external suppliers.
HOURS OF WORK
Monday – Thursday, 8:00 – 16:45
Friday, 8:00 – 15:45
39 hours per week
PAY PER HOUR
£5.79, going to £6.71 after 3 months of good performance
SKILLS REQUIRED
- Knowledge of Microsoft office
- 5 GCSES grade 4 or above

FUTURE PROGRESSION
A full-time, permanent position is available to the successful applicant after completion of the apprenticeship, subject to performance.
