What is a Lab technician? Lab technicians collect samples, study and conduct tests on chemical compounds. They use a range of machinery, complex computer programs and laboratory equipment to perform their tests. they also record their findings.

On completion of their initial apprenticeship, apprentices may have the opportunity to remain with the business on a permanent contract.
