On our study progammes you will be in groups of 6 to minimise contact with other households.
As part of your learning you'll be in our training centres for 2 days each week and then carry out supported home learning for the rest of the week. This helps to build up your skills, confidence and experience ready for an apprenticeship.
You'll have a day learning Maths, English and PSD (Personal and Social Development), the other day will be workshop experience in Painting and Decorating and Joinery/Carpentry and more.
As Government restrictions ease, more trades will become available for you to try and gain experience in.
During your supported home learning, you'll be using Microsoft Teams, where our tutors will be on hand providing drop-in sessions for advice and guidance, alongside ensuring you have a space to ask any questions regarding your learning.
Supported home learning promotes independence and digital skills, helping you to develop key behaviours that future employers will be looking for.
We have a team of trained, experienced staff to help you all the way. Whether you need support in English and Maths or whether it's support in Mental Health and wellbeing there is always someone here to help you.
Our Open Events are a chance for you to speak with our staff about your career options and we'll get you ready for your apprenticeship journey!
