ABOUT THE APPRENTICESHIP
This role reports to the Production Manager and will be trained in various tasks within the Mid-Section department. We require the post holder to have a clear understanding of the process.
Your Key Responsibilities to help us achieve our vision:
- Ensure that you have a clear understanding of our business objectives and be able to provide support that is fully aligned.
- Promote a positive culture and promoting our company and our 6 brands; along with leading by example and with a can do and innovative approach at all times.
Cranker:
- To place flat ware into a crank
- To have a steady hand
- To be quality conscious at all times
- To be able to handle ware that has been sprayed with glaze
Footwiper:
- To ensure a wide range of holloware and flatware is foot wiped to the required standard
Dipper:
- To immerse a wide range of small, medium and large holloware items in to glaze and dip to our quality standard
- Pick up ware from the conveyor or lift, and immerse in to the glaze
- Ensure working area is clean at the end of each shift
- Establish effective working relationships with co-workers
- Follow Health & Safety guideline
- Other duties may be required from time to time
Qualifications Required:
GCSE Grades A - C (4 or above) in English and Maths

FUTURE PROSPECTS
On completion of their initial apprenticeship, apprentices may have the opportunity to remain with the business on a permanent contract.
