Their businesses consist of: Klarius (Vehicle Emissions products), Emissco (Fluid Manufacturing), and KMT (Machines & Tooling).

As a Technical Centre Apprentice, your main role and responsibilities will include:

R&D Office based role:

  • Working in our R&D dept to support New Product Development
  • CAD drawing of components (using 2D AutoCAD and 3D Solid-works)
  • Support for Design Engineers
  • Working on Engineering changes for products
  • Cost reduction projects
  • Purchasing responsibility for dept
  • Calibration for dept
  • Admin support for dept
  • Sourcing of items with suppliers
Support for locating vehicle to test & organising
Additional duties may include some technical centre dept support, and working with other depts.


Skills Required:

  • Working knowledge of engineering
  • Basic CAD skills (2D or 3D)
  • Understand how to deliver excellent customer service
  • Organisation Skills (Able to manage time effectively and prioritise workload accordingly)
  • Able to work as part of a team
  • Good communication skills
  • Ability to understand and carry out instructions
  • Ability to multi tasks
  • IT skills desirable
