Lean Manufacturing Level 2  Apprenticeship 


This role reports to the Production Manager and will be trained in various tasks within the Mid-Section department. We require the post holder to have a clear understanding of the process.

Your Key Responsibilities to help us achieve our vision:


  • Ensure that you have a clear understanding of our business objectives and be able to provide support that is fully aligned.
  • Promote a positive culture and promoting our company and our 6 brands; along with leading by example and with a can do and innovative approach at all times.



  • To place flat ware into a crank
  • To have a steady hand
  • To be quality conscious at all times
  • To be able to handle ware that has been sprayed with glaze


  • To ensure a wide range of holloware and flatware is foot wiped to the required standard


  • To immerse a wide range of small, medium and large holloware items in to glaze and dip to our quality standard
  • Pick up ware from the conveyor or lift, and immerse in to the glaze
  • Ensure working area is clean at the end of each shift
  • Establish effective working relationships with co-workers
  • Follow Health & Safety guideline
  • Other duties may be required from time to time


Qualifications Required:

GCSE Grades A - C (4 or above) in English and Maths

On completion of their initial apprenticeship, apprentices may have the opportunity to remain with the business on a permanent contract.
