Established in 1984, Grenville Engineering entered the fabrication market with five shop floor staff and one of the first machines the company purchased was a manual punch and strippit machine.

The company has achieved great milestones partnering with a leading company in the Earth moving industry since 1985. In addition Grenville achieved ISO 9001 accreditation in 1997 and continued to invest in machinery catering to customer demand.


You will be responsible for:

Providing effective administration processing and accurately maintaining the in-house service management system and external customer service management systems.

Providing excellent customer service to internal and external clients via telephone.

Main Duties:

  • To work as part of a busy and committed team
  • To liaise with customers by telephone and email, dealing with all enquiries in a timely manner
  • Liaise with a range of depts to expand your knowledge of the business
  • Develop and maintain effective external and internal customer relationships
  • Effective administration processing
  • Deliver timely reporting to internal and external customers in line with our contractual obligations
  • Foundation use of CAD and engineering systems
  • Foundation finance and purchasing skills
  • Accurately maintain the in-house service management system and external customer service management systems

Hours of work:
Monday to Thursday 8am – 5pm
Friday 8am -1pm
£700 per month

In addition to the above, the post-holder will also be required to undertake additional duties as appropriate to the nature and level of the role.

  • Be able to demonstrate excellent customer service skills and be able to work in a fast-moving environment
  • Meticulous attention to detail
  • Effective time management skills
  • Professional and confident telephone manner
  • Good IT skills and excellent communication skills are essential as well as a proactive and responsible approach

Qualifications Required:

Maths and English GCSE’s (9-4) A-C essential.
