Business Administrator Level 3


An exciting opportunity to join the team at Mains Services Ltd, based in Stoke-on-Trent, working towards a Business Administrator Level 2 apprenticeship.

Main responsibilities include: 

  • Answering and directing phone calls to relevant staff
  • Scheduling meetings and appointments
  • Taking notes and minutes in meetings
  • Ordering and taking stock of office supplies.
  • Being a point of contact for a range of staff and external clients
  • Preparing documents for meetings and business trips
  • Processing and directing mail and incoming packages or deliveries.
  • Greeting and directing visitors and new staff to the organisation
  • Writing and issuing emails to teams and departments on behalf of teams or senior staff
  • Researching and booking travel arrangements for staff members
  • Finding ways to improve administrative processes.

Qualifications Required:

GCSE Grades A - D (3 or above) in English and Maths

Working Week:

£160 per week
Times: 9am - 3.30pm
Monday - Friday


Skills Required:

  • Thorough attention to detail
  • Excellent verbal and written communication
  • Ability to work in a group and on their own
  • Strong organisational skills
  • Familiarity with scheduling and organisational software

Personal Qualities:

  • Confidence in decision making.
  • Positive attitude for greeting clients.



On completion of their initial apprenticeship, apprentices will have the opportunity to remain with the business on a permanent contract.
