ABOUT THE APPRENTICESHIP

Inventory planning is the process of determining the optimal quantity of inventory in line with sales and production capacity. The role of the apprentice will include:

• understanding the process of sourced inventory demand and forecasting
• processing orders
• understand production methods and capacities
• understaning production plans
• maintain data using Churchill’s computer software
• communicate with production managers to prioritise urgent lines.

Maths is used regularly in this role as the apprentice will monitor stock levels, demands and forecasts. This is done using Microsoft Excel and our internal computer software “IFS”.

English is vital for communication via emails with internal managers, sales executives and external suppliers.

Working week:

Monday – Thursday, 8:00 – 16:45
Friday, 8:00 – 15:45

Qualifications Required:

GCSE Grades A - C (4 or above) in English and Maths

FUTURE PROSPECTS

A full-time, permanent position is available to the successful applicant after completion of the apprenticeship, subject to performance.
