ABOUT YOUR TRAINING PROVIDER

Achieve Training, the largest independent training provider in Staffordshire, provide inspirational training and outstanding apprenticeship delivery. An OFSTED 'GOOD' training provider, with over 30 years experience, Achieve Training support over 2,500 people each year to learn new skills, gain qualifications and progress in their careers.

ABOUT THE APPRENTICESHIP

Working alongside our qualified and experienced trade teams, you will carry out various works including plastering, joinery, plumbing, tiling and decorating as required to company standards.

You will utilise the skills gained at Achieve Training whilst under the supervision of your qualified mentor to assist in the speedy and competent completion of tasks.

Maintain high standards of customer service and professional standards with our valued customers.


Qualifications Required:

GCSE Grades 4 or above in English and Maths

Working Week:

£4.30 per hour
40 hours per week
Times: 7.45 am. – 5.00pm
Monday - Friday

Transport:

If you live in Stoke-on-Trent you will be able to get transport to and from work everyday!

REQUIREMENTS 

Skills Required:

  • Good attendance and punctuality record
  • Be able to follow Health & Safety requirements
  • Demonstrate a positive attitude to work and be flexible regarding learning new skills.
  • Ability to follow instructions and processes

USING MATHS AND ENGLISH

English and Maths may be used for (but not limited to), measuring materials, stock checking, requesting materials, applying and interpreting design specifications and instructions plus creating/updating daily figures and reporting.

FUTURE PROSPECTS

On completion of their initial apprenticeship, apprentices will have the opportunity to remain with the business on a permanent contract, progress onto higher-level qualifications and potentially (based on levels of performance) progress onto our internal leadership development programme.
