As a Engineering Apprentice, your main role and responsibilities will include:

  • Working in the engineering / design department
  • Designing tooling & equipment
  • Design machinery
  • R&D for machinery / tooling projects
  • Support for engineering dept activities
  • Ordering spare parts
  • Booking in deliveries of items
  • Working on TPM and predictive maintenance
  • Engineering dept admin duties
  • Continuous improvement work

    Additional duties may include some engineering dept support, and working with other depts.


Skills Required:

  • Working knowledge of engineering and fabrication
  • Understand how to deliver excellent customer service
  • Organisation Skills (Able to manage time effectively and prioritise workload accordingly)
  • Able to work as part of a team
  • Good communication skills
  • Ability to understand and carry out instructions
  • Ability to multi-tasks
  • IT skills desirable
  • Experience of production of maintenance & fabrication is desirable
