As a Contious Improvement Apprentice, your role will be to make changes! This is a really great position to be in and will really help you grow and develop within the organisation.  Your main role and responsibilities will include:
  • Supporting continuous business improvement
  • Set & measure KPIs for different areas
  • Support to Health & Safety team
  • Lean manufacturing projects
  • Problem Solving
  • Communication to workforce through information
  • Work on improvement projects, using problem solving methodology
  • Working closely with manufacturing and other site functions – to make improvements
  • Working on various engineering discipline – fabrication & production
  • Support of TPM system and predictive maintenance
  • Working with Quality Team to measure and improve process and customer satisfaction
  • Housekeeping & 5S Projects
  • Workplace organisation

Additional duties may include working and support with other depts.



Skills Required:

  • Basic knowledge of manufacturing
  • Understand how to deliver excellent customer service
  • Organisation Skills (Able to manage time effectively and prioritise workload accordingly)
  • Able to work as part of a team
  • Good communication skills
  • Ability to understand and carry out instructions

Qualifications Required:

Maths and English GCSE’s (9-4) A-C
