ABOUT THE APPRENTICESHIP
An opportunity to work for one of Staffordshire's leading manufacturers in the Ceramic industry. Churchill China is experiencing growth and is expanding. It intends to offer applicants thorough training in Lean Manufacturing Principles with a chance to specialise in a variety of areas across the company.
This role is Packing & Selecting, which includes quality checks, administration work and IT work.
Once a piece of ware has been glazed and fired is classed as Glost ware, so the quality, packing & selecting role is within the Glost Warehouse - the final department before the logistic warehouses and the apprentice needs to be conscientious and understand the need for attention to detail.
- Work as part of a team in the Packing & Selecting team
- Develop your skills across the board
- Apply efficient ways of working to improve productivity
- Work as a team to meet individual and company targets
- Be responsible for the maintenance of your own work station
Qualifications Required:
GCSE Grades A - C (4 or above) in English and Maths
