APPRENTICESHIP

Level 3 Business Administrator

ABOUT THE APPRENTICESHIP

Our Charity is growing, and we are looking for an enthusiastic Business Administration & Marketing Apprentice to provide efficient and effective administration support at our offices at Hanley Park Lodge. You will learn new skills that will support you to take on the wide range of tasks required to market the charity effectively. Mentored by the digital lead coordinator, you will be involved in helping to manage several social media accounts, generate engaging content and assisting with marketing events, campaigns, and other really exciting projects!

As business admin & marketing apprentice your main role and responsibilities will include:

• Answering the phone and meeting visitors
• Managing the bookings for our events and sensory inclusion hub
• Update and maintain the Charity website
• Typing, scanning, and laminating
• Prepare and send letters
• Develop the content for the website and all social media platforms
• Assist with our Charity eBay shop - including packing and posting parcels, dealing with questions and queries, writing brief product descriptions, and creating listings
• Attend networking events
• Produce marketing content, taking photographs
• Develop publicity material
• Research new online media opportunities that may benefit the Charity
• (Mobile, social media, blogs, vlogs and forums)
• Data entry
• Communicate with donors, customers, and trustees
• Compile reports
• Administration duties including compiling and managing databases, letters, managing donations

Required skills


• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
• A passion for digital marketing
• Good written and verbal communication skills

Throughout the duration of the apprenticeship, you will undertake a Business Administration Level 3 Standard Apprenticeship

Working hours
37.5 hours per week

Employment is conditional and subject to an Enhanced Disclosure and two satisfactory references. We will pay for the Disclosure.
