The Apprentice Document Controller is a new role within the team and will provide you with an opportunity to enter in to the world of engineering and grow your career with us. You will be part of a team of around 60 people and provide the highest standards of administration and document control support to the Term Design Team based on a pharmaceutical engineering construction site. We will create a tailored learning and development plan and support you to achieve your Level 3 Business Administration apprenticeship.

  • Data management including document control
  • Managing the end to end process of all project documentation including from receipt to issue of drawings using client document control systems i.e. CEMAR, SharePoint etc
  • Ensuring compliance with company integrated management system to ISO9001 and ISO14001 quality standards
  • Managing the administration of electronic filing systems
  • Providing general office administration activities support to the site team
  • Creating project handover support including operation & maintenance manuals
  • To provide the highest standards of general support to the department

Qualifications Required:

5 x GCSE’s inc Maths & English (A-C/Grade 4 or above) PREFERED

Working Week:

£5.92 per hour
39 hours per week Monday – Friday


Skills Required:

  • A minimum of GCSEs in Maths & English or equivalent

  • An ability to use Microsoft suite i.e., word, excel, power-point etc.

Personal qualities required:

  • Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritise

  • An ability to communicate openly and effectively with other team members at all levels
